Loreto Leader – September 2013

Hello everyone,

Welcome back to the new season which promises to be a really great year culminating in our trip to Europe in June (venue to be confirmed!) It is great to see so many familiar faces back at preseason training and also some new faces who I hope enjoy their time at Loreto.

Our Junior Section is thriving again this season under the guidance of Wendy Byrne and Emma Flynn who have done trojan work in ensuring that we are running a top class Junior Section. Thank you both for all your hard work. Thanks also to Bronwyn for organising the two hugely successful Summer Camps.

We have a super Club Captain in Roisin Ryan. Roisin will be making herself known over the next couple of weeks and will be encouraging you all to join in the fun aspect of the Club together with our new social secretaries Hilly Hardiman and Adrianna Luzzi who have vast personal experiences of the party scene!!

On that note our Club Opening night in Saturday the 5th October in the Glenside Pub. It promises to be a great night and there will be a band playing also this year. I am looking forward to seeing you all there this year. Hilly and Adrianna have put in a huge amount of work to ensure there is a bigger emphasis of the social aspect of the club this year.
