Loreto Leader – March 2013

Hi Everyone,

It is hard to believe that the season is over for most of us. Well done to all the teams who have done so well in their respective leagues, particularly the seconds who won the league for a second year in a row a fantastic achievement well done girls. The first’s season is still in full swing with the IHL currently going on.

We were delighted to have the opportunity in hosting the IHL last Saturday and I think you would all agree that we really showcased Loreto. Huge thanks to Sally Ann and team of Volunteers for coordinating the event.

The icing on the cake was the super performance the firsts displayed against Railway beating them 3-1. It was a brilliant match. Well done girls.

It was great to have Nicci Daly back on home turf! It promises to be another great weekend of hockey and it would be great to have as much support for the firsts as possible. Hard luck to the fourths who lost 3-1 in the Cup final on Sunday, well done on having a great season.

Finally the Club dinner is approaching and it promises to be a great night. I am looking forward to seeing you all then!
