Loreto Leader – December 2012

Hi Everyone,

Well what a fantastic year we have had at Loreto Hockey Club! We now have our very own Club house what a fantastic achievement and I would like to thank all our member’s associates and supporters who have embraced this project from the word go.

The 8th of December proved to be a momentous day. We had a steady flow of people during the day, who enjoyed mulled wine and mince pies are were given the grand tour of our new clubhouse. It was great to see present and past members enjoying the day.

Thanks to our Club Captain Gemma and her team of helpers namely Grainne, Hilly and Bronnie for providing the refreshments during the day. We also had our Christmas Party that evening in the Glenside and a great night was had by all. Thanks to Gemma, Doireann and Annmarie, for hosting a super night.

Special thanks must also go to Sarah Maher who together it Nuala Naughton put together a fantastic video showing Loreto over the years and giving us all a glimpse of sponsorship initiative to be launched in January.

I would like to wish everyone a very happy and healthy Christmas and also a well deserved break from Hockey! Looking forward to seeing you all in the New Year
