Future Internationals meet Current Internationals!!!

A mid-October Friday training session seemed completely normal until the arrival of….. “The Irish Players!”  Both the U8s and the U12s were equally excited to meet some of the Loreto players on the Irish team; Nicci Daly, Lizzie Colvin, Niamh Small and Nikki Symmons!

The girls (the fillies that is!) were delighted to learn a few tricks from the Internationals.  They also got an endless supply of autographs getting their sticks, stickbags and even autograph books signed.

Perhaps the funniest moment was when the U8s were trying to guess where Lizzie was from…after guessing Carlow, Wexford and even Belgium, they then came to the conclusion that she was in fact from Kansas!
