Exciting News: Introducing the Loreto Coaching Project!

At Loreto, we recognize that high-quality coaching is foundational to everything we do. The 1926 Club is thrilled to announce that we have secured the funding to launch the Loreto Coaching Project immediately! 

Our Vision

The core aim of this project is to elevate the quality and consistency of coaching across both our Senior and Junior sections. By investing in our coaches, we maximize the opportunity for every player and team to reach their full potential.

What We Aim to Achieve

We want Loreto to be a club that values and develops coaches as a key differentiator. Our goals include:

• A Clear Coaching Pathway: Establishing a formal structure to attract, develop, and retain talented coaches from both inside and outside the club.
• A Culture of Growth: Creating an environment where coaches are continually challenged to sharpen their skills and advance their careers within Loreto.
• Direct Support: Providing every coach with dedicated mentoring, formal education, and annual performance reviews to ensure they feel supported.
• Specialized Resources: Ensuring a dedicated budget is available for specialized coaching where it is needed most.

Leadership & Next Steps

To drive this initiative, we are officially establishing the role of Head of Coaching. This individual will be responsible for delivering the project’s outcomes and supporting our coaching community.

We intend to have our Head of Coaching appointed before the start of next season so the journey can truly begin!
