What is the 1926 Club?
The 1926 Club is the visible vehicle to sustainably fund Loreto Hockey Club’s vision and projects for continued success and growth, enabling recruitment and recognition for the companies, individuals and families who support us through sponsorship, patronage or donation.

Player Development
Provide every player the opportunity to reach their potential at every stage of their progression.
Support players through the transition from Junior to Senior hockey and keep women in sport!
Provide and expand inclusive hockey opportunities for all ages and abilities in safe and fun environments.
Team development
Underpinned by the club ethos, coaching and structures, enable our teams go out each week and perform to their best.
Building Excellence in Coaching and Umpiring
Implement a Coaching Pathway that supports and develop our Coaches enabling them to be the best.
Mentor and support our Umpires as they progress within the club and external pathway.

As you know the Irish Women’s Hockey Team start their World Cup campaign with a pool match against Spain this Sunday the 16th at 7.30pm.
We are all so excited and proud that so many of our current and former Loreto players will be taking part in this amazing event.♥️🤍
If you’re looking for a “Loreto Supporters Venue” to watch this game on Sunday, come on down to The Glenside Pub in Churchtown where we have reserved a special supporters area at the back of the pub.

Congratulations to Luisa on receiving her Ireland U18 hockey jersey at a special presentation ceremony at Wesley College last week.
Being presented with your national jersey is a fantastic achievement and reflects the dedication, commitment and hard work required to reach this level. It made the occasion even more special to receive her jersey from Loreto Hockey Club legend Ali Meeke, who represented Ireland at every level throughout her distinguished career and was part of the Irish team that won a historic silver medal at the 2018 Hockey World Cup.
Everyone at Loreto Hockey Club is immensely proud of Luisa and wishes her and the Ireland U18 squad the very best as they compete this summer. Congratulations Luisa! ❤️
